Filtration

Nonwoven Production Specialized for the Filtration Industry

Our nonwoven fabrics, developed with Spunbond and Meltblown technologies in our Gaziantep facilities, provide high-efficiency solutions in a wide range of areas, from air and liquid filtration to industrial dust collection systems.

Our 100% PP content Spunbond SS products, with the balanced distribution of 1.8–2.2 dtex thickness filaments, yield excellent results in cooling filters while also serving as a carrier layer. Our Meltblown fabrics exhibit high-level filtration performance in air and dust filters thanks to the large surface area offered by their 6–8 micron fine fiber structure.

Two Core Technologies in Filtration

Our Spunbond and Meltblown products are two core production technologies that support each other in filtration processes.

Filtration efficiency is directly dependent on fiber diameter and surface uniformity. The micron-level fine fiber structure of our Meltblown fabrics successfully captures even the smallest particles in the air. Our Spunbond fabrics, on the other hand, maintain the form of the filter structure with their high mechanical resistance. With our SMS (Spunbond-Meltblown-Spunbond) composite structures, we combine these two powers in a single product using our over 20 years of experience. We can optimize surface energy with the corona treatment option to increase filtration capacity.

Areas of Use

Vacuum cleaner dust bags, filter bags for vacuum cleaners, refrigerant and air conditioning filters, industrial air filters, liquid filtration applications and automotive cabin filters.

Frequently Asked Questions

01. How are Spunbond and Meltblown fabrics used together in filtration?

Spunbond fabrics act as mechanical strength and carrier layer, while Meltblown fabrics form the main filtration layer with their fine fiber structure. By combining these two in the SMS composite structure, both durable and highly efficient filters can be produced.

In applications requiring fine particle retention - especially in HEPA type air filters, vacuum cleaner bags and medical filtration systems - the 6-8 micron fiber structure of Meltblown fabrics provides superior performance.

Yes. Corona treatment can improve surface wettability, antistatic application can prevent static electricity build-up and FR (delayed flammability) treatment can meet safety standards in filter applications requiring fire safety.
